FARRAGO is the duo between Tomás Gubbins (guitars and objects) and Felipe Araya (percussion and objects), two performers of free improvisation and timbral experimentation. The duo works in two distinct formats: one fully acoustic, featuring guitars, cajón, percussions, and found objects; and a louder setup with electric guitar and drums. With an intuitive and open approach, FARRAGO delves into the materiality of sound and spontaneous interaction, where each concert is a territory in its unfolding process.

FARRAGO adapts to different formats, intensities, textures, and varying amounts of silence, depending on the interaction and the musical context they inhabit. Their performances emerge from the moment, allowing their sound to shift fluidly between density and sparsity, rawness and subtlety, always embracing the unpredictable nature of improvisation.
